4. How We Share Your Information
We only share your personal information in the situations described below:
4.1 Service Providers and Partners
We share information with trusted third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as:
- Payment processing (e.g., Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay);
- Hosting and infrastructure;
- Analytics and measurement;
- Customer support and communications (e.g., email service providers);

These processors may collect and process your payment information directly, in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
4.2 Museums and Cultural Institutions
Where ARTLAS is used in collaboration with a museum or cultural institution, we may share aggregated or de-identified information (for example, anonymized usage trends) so they can understand how visitors are using ARTLAS. We do not share personally identifiable information with these partners unless:
- it is necessary for a specific joint feature or service,
- you have been clearly informed and, where required, given a choice, or
- we are legally required to do so.
4.3 Legal Requirements and Protection
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
- comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of ARTLAS, our users, or the public;

- detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
4.4 Business Transfers
If ARTLAS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, in accordance with applicable law and this Privacy Policy.
4.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you give us your consent or when you direct us to do so.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services to you;
- fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;
- comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
- resolve disputes; and
- enforce our agreements.
For example, we may keep transaction records and related data for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws, which may be a number of years. When we no longer need to retain your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or aggregate it.
You may request deletion of certain information as described in Section 7 below.
6. International Data Transfers
ARTLAS operates globally and may process your information in countries other than the one where you live. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards (for example, contractual protections) to help ensure that your personal information remains adequately protected when it is transferred internationally.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.
7.1 Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

7.2 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by:

You can typically configure your browser or device to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, some parts of the Services may not function properly if you disable cookies.
8. Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information, including:
- encryption in transit (such as HTTPS);
- access controls and authentication;
- regular monitoring for potential vulnerabilities.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe that your account or information is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at info@artlas.app.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that we have collected information from a child in violation of this Policy, please contact us at info@artlas.app. We will take steps to delete such information as required by applicable law.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services that are not controlled by ARTLAS (for example, museum websites, ticketing platforms, or external resources). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law (for example, through the Services or by email), giving you an opportunity to review the changes before they become effective.
Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective will signify your acceptance of the changes.
